The MTD 723-0448A is a right-hand thread ball joint/track rod end designed for the steering systems of ride-on lawn tractors. It is compatible with a wide range of models from MTD, Cub Cadet, Toro, Troy-Bilt, and other brands.


  • Thread Specifications:

    • Male Thread: 3/8"-24 UNF (Right-Hand)

    • Female Thread: 7/16"-20 UNF (Right-Hand)

  • Compatibility:

    • Fits MTD lawn and garden tractors from 1997 onwards (excluding model 995) .

    • Replaces OEM part numbers: 723-0448, 723-0448A, 723-0448AP, 923-0448A .

    • Also compatible with Toro part number 112-0917 .

  • Construction:

    • Durable metal construction suitable for steering linkages and tie rod ends.
