Original Makita 961036-3 — Retaining Ring (WR-10). This small steel snap ring (listed by Makita as “RETAINING RING WR-10”) secures shafts, bearings and gear components inside the rotary-hammer gear housing to prevent axial movement and maintain correct alignment during hammering.

Fits (example models): Makita HR3210C and HR3210FCT — also shown in parts diagrams for HR3200/HR3210-series and listed for related HR3540C / HR3541FC models. Use this part when reassembling the gear/crank area after service or to replace a worn or deformed circlip.
