Original Makita Stop Ring E‑6 — part number 961012-7. A genuine Makita external E‑clip (stop ring) used to locate and retain shafts, pins and collars in the groove of an E‑6 size shaft; sold as a single stop ring (qty. 1) for direct replacement.
This E‑6 designation corresponds to the standard E‑clip sizing convention (sized for a grooved shaft of about 6 mm), so it’s the little retaining ring you’d replace when a pin or shaft is slipping out or a washer/spring assembly is coming loose.
