Makita 424684-4 — genuine Makita replacement sponge / sealing foam. This compact foam insert is the soft sealing/sponge piece used with Makita finishing sanders to cushion and seal around the sanding pad and help control dust and vibration.

Fits Makita finishing sander models BO4556, BO4556K and BO4565 (listed fitment). Some parts suppliers also list it for related models such as BO4555, BO4557 and cordless DBO48x-series sanders on their fitment lists — check your model code against the part number to confirm compatibility.
