Genuine Makita replacement spacer ring (Ring 7) used in Makita mitre saws. It’s a small flat washer-style spacer — listed as “Washer 7” (size 7 mm) — that fits between the upper blade case and the link plate to provide the correct spacing for the blade-guard mechanism and ensure smooth guard travel. Designed to be fitted on the guard/bolt assembly (may require a hex driver); tighten only enough for free movement so the guard doesn’t bind.
