Original Hitachi brush cap — part no. 319918. This small plastic brush cap is the original Hitachi replacement that secures and protects the carbon brush in Hitachi / HiKOKI / Metabo HPT / HiKoki cordless drills, drivers and impact wrenches; it’s the exact drop‑in cap called out on parts diagrams for the cordless driver/impact product.
Fits many 14–18 V Hitachi models including : DS18DL, DN18DSL, DS14DL, WH18DL, WR18DL, WH9DM, DV18DL, WR14DSL , DV14DSL and WH9DM — check your tool’s parts list for the same part number to confirm fit.
Notes for the repair: the cap works with the standard carbon brush used in these tools (carbon brush listed as 5 × 6 × 11.5 mm in the parts lists) and most of the cordless driver/impact assemblies use two brush caps (one per brush). Order the quantity you need to replace both sides if your tool has two brushes.
