Bosch Grommet - 1610703053
Bosch 1610703053 — Genuine Bosch rubber grommet / cable protector. Direct replacement grommet that seals and protects the power cable where it enters the tool housing, reducing strain on the cord and helping keep dust and debris out of the internal electrical connection. Durable flexible rubber construction designed to resist cracking and hardening from vibration and jobsite wear.
Measures approximately 89 mm long with an overall width of about 12 mm, ( Ø9,7-Ø12x89 MM) shaped to slip into the cable entry and form a snug, flexible seal around the cord. It’s the same profile used by Bosch for several SDS-max demolition hammers and heavy-duty rotary hammers.
Example compatible models (common fitments reported): GSH 11 VC, GSH 11 E, GSH 16-28, GSH 7 VC and a range of GBH/GBH‑series rotary hammers such as GBH 8‑45 D / DV and GBH 12‑52 D / DV (also found listed for GBH 7‑46 / GBH 12‑52 variants). Use this grommet to restore proper cable routing, eliminate exposed wiring at the entry point, and stop intermittent faults caused by a failing cable seal.
Simple to fit: remove the housing cover at the cable entry, swap the old cracked/flattened grommet for the new 1610703053, and reassemble—returns original cable strain relief and sealing without any modification.
