The DRT50ZJ is engineered for the full range of woodworking applications with the variable speed dial (10,000-30,000RPM). This dial is controlled to adapt to the job in need. The router is equipped with an efficient Makita brushless motor giving up to 50% longer run time, increased speed and power and giving longer tool-life. Convenience features include the smooth fine depth adjustment system for more precise settings, dual L.E.D. lights to illuminate the work surface, and a quick release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and base removal/installation. The DRT50ZJ also features constant speed control, this compliments the variable speed dial and keeps this chosen speed under load. The router also features the soft start mechanic giving the most accurate and smooth start up possible. The DRT50ZJ is compatible with the Makita vacuum cleaners connecting easily with the dust nozzle for dust extraction.
