The Makita DHS680Z features the highly efficient brushless motor, giving off up to a third longer run time. Automatic speed control adjusts the motor speed according to load condition for optimum operation so on a light duty load the motor runs at high speed whereas on a heavier duty operation the motor will run at high torque. The no load speed of this unit is 5,000rpm which is over 35% faster than it's predecessor the DSS610 which will allow for faster cutting almost on par with electric mains machines. The circular saw is also equipped with twin LED lights to illuminate the working space when in use. Featuring a tool hanger to hang the saw when not in use and also a blower function to blows sawdust off the cutting line.
