The Makita DTD153Z brushless 18v LXT impact driver is equipped with many stand out features such as the 170Nm max torque which allows it to operate at a very high efficiency. Using a 4-Pole brushless motor the impact driver relieves strain on a lot of components compared to the brushed models. The keyless quarter inch single sleeve hex chuck accepts standard bolts from M5-M16 and machine screws from M4-M8 making it ideal for repetitive screwing. The impact driver has a no load speed of 3400rpm providing up to 3600ipm, the percussive action saving time and effort, driving screws up to 30% faster than a conventional drill/driver, no pilot hole is needed even into hardwood.
